United Methodist Women’s Ministry inherits the vision and toil of women’s missionary societies of eight denominations since 1869. Its 146-year legacy started when eight women met in a kitchen in Boston. The organized unit of Nicholasville United Methodist Women’s Ministry is a community of women whose purpose is to know God through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
In 1869 they were responding to the Holy Spirit’s leading. That is exactly what we are doing in 2015. Together we can continue to change the world. We are Faith, Hope and Love in Action.

Woman to Woman
Woman to Woman is a program at NUMC for women to connect with each another woman one on one, meeting regularly to do life together. This can take the form of mentoring/discipleship (and older woman pouring into a younger woman), or peer friendship/accountability. If you are interested in developing a close relationship with another woman in our community, please contact Patricia Walsh for more information.
